Vehicle Detail

This RARE 1950 Cadillac series 61 is one of the most complete, original, and untouched caddy’s you will find for this year. Parts that are obsolete such as glass, bumpers, and trim are all there. Everything is original! Trying to find these items is difficult and expensive but you will not have to worry about with this car which is a great head start on completion. It has newer glossy black paint which really compliments the car and there are only very few chips. This car has also never seen salt! I have been inside and out of this car and I haven’t run into any rust anywhere. All major electrical works such as headlights, tail lights, turn signals, gas gauge, and temp gauge. Heater and defroster work great. The radiator has been rebuilt along with a brand new water pump and thermostat housing. The master cylinder is rebuilt along with new brake lines and they work great! The window regulators perform flawlessly as well. This car is on the 6v electrical system. The engine is a 331ci V8 mated to a 4 speed hydra matic. I installed new points, lifters, push rods, and had the carter carburetor rebuilt, new oil pan gasket, new oil pump, trans pan gasket, 3" magnaflow exhaust, and new voltage regulator. Engine will start and run great, however, I think it may have a minor fuel issue because it will shut off for no reason sometimes or have a hard time staying at an idle. The transmission is slipping and will require attention in the near future and leaks out of the crankcase vent which leave a puddle where its parked. The interior is original. Seats need to be reupholstered along with new carpet and inside door panels. The radio/speakers and glove box lock is missing. The dash, headliner, steering wheel, gear shifter, door locks, glass are all in great shape! It could also use new weatherstripping as well. The car also has new shocks all the way around and rides like a dream! The odometer reads 55,300 miles but stopped around last year. I took pictures of everything that is considered a flaw because I want the buyer to see everything as if they're right in front of the car. I get compliments on this car everywhere I go and is a real head turner! The untouched condition of this car is still amazing and is perfect head start for a complete restoration. I believe I listed everything to the best of my knowledge so there are no surprises. I would love to see this amazing piece of American history go to someone who will love it just as much as I do and will be able to complete it. I have a few extra parts that I will throw in as well. Call me or text me with any questions! If I don’t answer please leave a detailed message and I will return your call or text as soon as possible. I respond to emails, texts and calls. I have the title in hand so you wont have to worry about getting a new one. This car would be an exceptional collector to own and an amazing investment and I would love to see it go into the right hands that will appreciate and enjoy it as much as I did.
