I have for sale my 1995 Ford F-150. This truck has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. I love the truck and wish I could keep it, but I will be commuting farther to school next year and need something more fuel efficient. A brief history of the truck (to my knowledge) The truck was my grandfathers before me, he was a Ford mechanic for 30 years so the truck has been well maintained. Before him, it was a boatyard truck in Newport, R.I. used just in and around a boat yard. Other than that I am unsure of any other owners, but I can assure you this truck has been well taken care of. Features: Four wheel drive, Automatic trans. 5.0 V-8, Power windows locks mirrors, cruise control, A/C, Pioneer CD Player, Sliding Rear Window, Bed Liner With the assistance of my grandfather, I have preformed an extensive amount of maintenance in 2010:-New alternator-New heater core-Upper and lower ball joints-Inner and outer front wheel bearings-New front shock towers-New motor mounts-New TPS-New starter and starter solenoid -New radiator-New rear shocks-All new Brakes (Front rotors+pads, Rear drums+shoes, and New front calipers)-Spark Plugs and Plug Wires Also in 2010: I had New All Terrain Tires mounted and had the truck aligned. The main point I want to stress about this truck is not to be deceived by the mileage, I would not hesitate to hop in this truck and make a long trip. It has always been very reliable for me, and runs and drives great. As with any older vehicle there are some minor issues that will need to be taken care of: -The check engine light is on, The code is for EGR (this is an emissions problem and does not effect the drive-ability of the truck, but will need to be taken care of to pass emissions or smog checks, if applicable to your state) -This truck has Two gas tanks, One of which does not work (this really is not a big deal, because it would cost too much with current gas prices to fill both tanks anyway) -And lastly, the truck has some rusts spots on the body: Over one rear wheel well, both cab corners, and a very small spot on the pass. front fender (All of which are shown in the pictures above) This vehicle is being sold AS ISHappy Bidding!On Jun-04-11 at 07:57:43 PDT, seller added the following information:One other minor issue with the truck which I had forgotten to mention, is that the engine oil dipstick tube was rusty and broke off a few inches up from the block. A new dipstick tube could be easily found at a junkyard, or even here on ebay. And installation is as simple as sliding the old one out, and new one in. (truck still drives, just can't check the oil)
