1967 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU CONVERTIBLE SHOULD BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED Up for bid, with a starting price, BUT NO HIDDEN RESERVE! This car was completely restored from the frame up. The restoration was done with the intent of still keeping it as a "Driver". This is not a "100 point restoration" that should be towed from show to show. Look at the pictures, it is still a head turner and it runs great. The odometer was set back to zero at the end of the restoration. True millage is unknown Complete repaint, new convertible top (note the clearness of the back window), new upholstery, carpet, interior panels, tires and a full mechanical work over. Only notes; the clock is not working, still have the original and it can be rebuilt. The chrome on the front bumper has some fading and there are a couple of minor scratches, including the wheel trim rings. But, not a single door ding. Some of the pictures seem to show some more major scratches, look closer, they are just reflections. This is not a "number matching" car. Instead it boasts some desirable updates: A COMPLETELY REBUILT 350 CUBIC INCH ENGINE (THE 327 EMBLEMS ARE STILL ON THE FENDERS TO KEEP THE EXTERIOR ORIGINAL).THE TRANSMISSION IS THE 2-SPEED POWERGLIDE. ALSO FULLY REBUILT. IT HAS A REBUILT 10 BOLT REAR END. The cheap steering wheel cover was left on because it is believed to have been installed when the car was new, underneath is the original wheel. If you are serious and looking at this listing, you likely know your Chevelle's and Malibu's. I'm not going to go on about the little details that should be obvious.
