ACATEC Auto Sales is a student run business that is provided by the Allegan County Area Technical & Education Center. We receive all of our cars from either auction or donation. Once they are received, they are sent to our Auto Technical program where they receive a 36 point inspection and all necessary repairs are done. Once they are completed, they are then moved to ACATEC Auto Sales for detailing. The Business Management class is responsible to provide students who have the skills to market, advertise, and complete sales and sales transaction. Students are also responsible for all accounting procedures. Our goal is to provide safe and reliable transportation to the public while providing a valuable learning experience to the students of Allegan County. We are located at 759 Grand Street, across from the Allegan County Airport (next door to the Allegan County Area Technical & Education Center). The Auto technology Program has used this vehicle as a lab, however the school year is ending and this car no longer fits into the current curriculum. We have replaced the radiator but have discovered that the head gasket is blown and the car is NOT RUNNING. The bracket where the radiator bolts in was bent and we had it moved enough to get the radiator in but not enough to get the AC compressor in. One we discovered the blown head gasket we stopped working on the vehicle. Over all condition of the car is good. There is one area of rust on the passengers side real wheel arch. The leather is in good shape. The vinyl pad on the center console needs to be replaced. It is cracked. Good Project Car .... Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for pickup.
