** There are over 100 Pics please give them time to load** 1970 Plymouth 340 Cuda Convertible 1 of 155 340 automatics produced. This is an original Cuda, not a clone or tribute car. 2 year “rotisserie” restoration recently completed, about 100 test miles put on the car since completion. As you can see in the pics the car underwent a “rotisserie” restoration done by a very experienced (25+ years) restorer who only restores Mopars. You can click on the “Me” symbol next to my eBay ID to see some of the other cars he has restored. The car was restored back to the original fender tag options. The original fender tag is on the car (no reproduction). The only added options are the Rallye instruments and the 340 side stripe. I have included a list of parts that add up to ~$24,000 used during the extensive restoration. If you are looking for a unique Cuda Convertible that you can get in and enjoy this summer this is a great car for you. It is highly unlikely you will see another one with these options. This car has been off the road and market since the 80’s so when you take it to the Mopars shows, you will be the first to show it. I have sold several cars on eBay over the past 12 years and have always received positive feedback. I am not a dealer, just a hobbyist and it is important to me that the buyer is satisfied with the car. You can be assured I have described the car to the best of my knowledge and will answer your questions honestly. It is a buyer’s market right now for muscle cars and this car is priced accordingly and at a substantial loss to me. It would be near impossible to find an original 340 Cuda convertible and restore it to this level for my price on this car. I have a clear (no liens) AZ title. You can call Mark, the restorer @520 668 3126 or Doug, the owner @ 703 405 6825 if you have questions. Body/ Paint/Trim As you can see in the pics this is very solid car restored correctly. All the correct and original body numbers are in place. The paint is very nice. All the body lines and panels are very straight. The gaps are all uniform. The original bumpers have been re-chromed. The stainless steel trim was polished. The door handles are new. All the rubber seals, gaskets, window felts, emblems etc were replaced during the restoration as well as the convertible top, boot and well liner. The windshield and rear glass are new. The side glass is original and in good condition with the exception of a chip in the driver’s side door glass. Mechanical This car runs and drives excellent. It goes down the road straight and stops straight as expected. You can feel confident that you can get in this car and drive it anywhere in the country. A rebuilt 1971 340 (steel crank) was installed in the car with the correct 340 HP manifolds. The engine runs perfectly. The fuel tank, fuel lines and fuel pump are also new. The rebuilt 727 transmission shifts and works perfectly. The 8 ¾ rear end has 3:55 gears which is a good ratio for this car with the 15” wheels. The car has completely rebuilt heavy duty 11” brakes. The TTI exhaust is completely new including the tips. The car sounds great. The front end is completely rebuilt. The wheels are new 15” rallyes with new BF Goodrich T/A Radials and new centers. Almost everything under the hood is new including, water pump, alternator, starter, hoses, wiring harnesses, belts, plugs, plug wires, battery washer bottle, squirters etc. The rallye instruments have been rebuilt and refaced. Everything on the car works; horn, lights, wipers, heater, radio, gauges, fog lamps, including the tach and clock (upgraded to quartz movement) etc. The car also runs nice and cool even in the 100 + AZ heat (new 26” max cooling radiator). Interior The interior has new Legendary seat covers, seat foam, door panels, dash pad, kick panels, seat backs and carpet. The instrument panel was completely restored and everything works.
