Vehicle Detail
Im the third owner of this "Tim Capusle" and have had my fun on it so now its time to pass the torch. This Trump was built in 1974 the way it is by the 1st owner. 2nd owner kept her garaged and took care her. He said he parked her in 1989 due to getting hitched and moth balled her. I picked her up several years back and dusted her off gave her a look over. She needed a rebuild kit for the carb and a oil change and some gaskets. The prior owner was relegious with his oil changes he said ever 1000 miles. She fired right up and been running ever sence!I have won a bike night at a local car show with her and have enjoyed riding her on Wednesday Night Bike Nites here in San Diego. Selling her isnt a easy thing but I cant keep them all. Pictures are all a few days old and more pictures on request. ~About this bike~ This is the real deal built in the 70's and done right. It has all the period parts on her from her area and has not been altered. This is a numbers matching bike and no numbers have been tampered with. This bike has simple molding and everything is top notch! She has a Mighty May system with battery eliminator. Yup that right no battery and all the lights work. She also has a 3 way keyed ignition. She has some chips nicks in paint but no dents in paint work. 1-10 scale paint is a 8. Motor is a 500cc that runs good. She smokes a bit but what trump doesnt. She is easy to start with the rebuilt Amal Carb. I had not ridden her in 2 months as I been on road and she fired right up. Seat is a period king and queen that has 2 small holes. They were there when I got it and you can barely see them. The sissy bar is straight and no rust. The rigid is a early bolt on that has clean lines. The front end is a stock extended period choper front end and the neck is raked. Twisted rail road spike pegs, There is no flop in steering. Shifts through all gears and does not jump out of gear, tranny works as it should. The forks has slight patina and uses the stock Trump front brake. This is not a project bike this is a runner. That said she is a Triumph and you do need to keep maintnance up. The gas tank is a real double petcock Wassell with brass petcocks no rust inside. Square Tail light side mounted. Chrome Hexagon Oil Bag with the coils and capacitors mounted inside.. Wires run through frame. This bike is as sold as it gets but it is a 1970 Triumph and sold as is where is.
