Vehicle Detail
This is a classic 1964 Lemans Convertible. It is Blue with blue interior. The car runs very well. I had it professionaly tuned recently. It has new seats and a new cover for the retracted white top. It also has a new windshield. I also has a new floor panel put in and the frame enhanced last year. The engine is a V8 326 cu inch with a 4 Barrel carb. It has great pick up and purrs on the road. The car can be turned into a GTO with minor changes as the VIN numbers back in 64 did not designate between the GTO and Lemans. The body is in ok but needs work to be considered show quality. See pics. This is a great car for the Pontiac enthusiast. It can be a real show car if given enough love and attention. I purchase this car on ebay two years ago with intention of restoring it. But my financial situation is such that I need to sell it. It can be driven and enjoyed this summer with minor attention. (The lights need to be rewired) Then restored over the winter to make into a show car. On Jun-06-11 at 14:02:56 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a classic 1964 Lemans Convertible. I am adding additional info due to the number of emails and questions: First the frame: I was told the frame was bad on thiscar after i bought it. So the seller agreed to have it fixed. He spent $3,600.00 having rewelded and a new floor panel put it. The car rides great now, but hey its 47 years old and the frame could need more work eventually. Second, a new development on the trunk. The trunk lock opened hard, and now as of yesterday does not open. I can tell you the trunk is in good shape with a little rust but not much. There is a full size spare in it. As I indicated the car runs great. It does leak a little oil when it is warm. I dont know the reason it was on my list to have fixed. This car is priced to sell. thanks for looking
