This is a Super Sharp 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab 4-dr. with the optional 4X4 OFF ROAD package and 4.0L V6 engine with 4-spd. overdrive tranny. This truck was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be an easy repairable for anyone.
The damage is the right front corner and steering rack. I don't know why it was totaled out but glad it was because it will make a nice truck when repaired. The damage looks like the truck went off the road and you can see some tree bark in the pic of the right front wheel between the alloy wheel and tire. The wheel is not bent or cracked and the tire is ok but the impact must have cracked the rack & pinion housing because power steering fluid runs out and you can see the fluid in pic. The right wheel looks to be back a bit but no obvious damage. Fords have issues with torsion bars and if a wheel alignment don't bring it back to specs. you may find a bad spindle or control arm? whatever ya find will not be major and as you can see in the pics there is no frame damage. The radiator support, radiator and a/c condensor are good and blows cold air. The head lamps, park lamps, windshield and air bags are good and all 4-doors swing as they should. The repairs should be dent in fender, front bumper, lower air dam, right fog lamp and steering rack.
The engine sounds great and the tranny & 4-wd work as they should. You can see the engine at an idle after warmed up in the pic of the dash cluster. Notice no warning or check engine lights are on! You can do a road test but the truck will need to be trailered home because of steering rack and front end alignment.
The overall truck is in good condition and will be as my pictures indicate. No hail dings or prior damage. Some minor surface rust can be seen on lower inside of doors but overall in above averege condition.
The interior will also be as the pictures show and will satisfy anyone. The seats and carpets are in good condition and looks to have came from a good home and a non-smoker. The truck is loaded with factory options and they all work as they should including cold a/c.
These trucks have a high retail value and will still show a $7000. retail price on N.A.D.A. and other price guides on the net. I noticed that when I ran it that the miles were not a deduction because they average only about 13,000 miles driven per year, that good!
