I knew this day would come sooner or later. The time has come to sell my SVT convertible Mustang. I have owned a lot of vehicles over the past 45 years and this car is my favorite. It is sharp looking, fun to drive, an eye catcher, sounds absolutely awesome and runs unbelievable. It has everything I like in a car right to the ever changing Mystic Chrome paint. The leather interior is very nice, the tires are at about 80% and it is ready to go. I bought it in Phoenix and drove it to Las Vegas for a vacation with my wife. From there we drove it to NE Montana, used it there for a couple of summers. When not in use it has been garaged and this includes before I bought it. It has not been stored outside or driven in inclement weather. I trailered it to Woodinville Washington where it is currently parked. The person who I bought it from told me the history he knew about it. He bought it from a retired policeman in Arizona. He drove it to New York on a couple of trips. He had a shop replace the factory supercharger with a Kenne Bell unit. I looked into that change and found out it was a good idea. He had headers installed and the engine was removed for that process. At that time he had a racing clutch installed. The reason for that I found out was to keep the supercharger from self destructing. The clutch keeps the engine from lugging down which keeps it from spark knocking. Initially I didn't like it, but once I found out the reason for it I like it and it makes sense. If you give it too much gas at too low RPM's the clutch will kick itself out. I just accelerate slower or down shift. It is loaded with the Cobra options. Cruise control, tilt wheel, power top, power windows, power locks, alarm system, radar detectors, 6 CD player, chrome alloys, cross drilled rotors, Bassani, leather etc etc. Fly in and drive it away. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is registered in Alaska however it has never been there. We had it for our lower 48 car and now we have decided we have too many vehicles and just don't use it enough. It just had the oil changed, synthetic of course. That is what it has had. Mobil 1. And of course the oil is always on the full mark just like the rest of the fluids. These cars are rare and only a few Mystic Chrome convertibles were made. The 03 and 04 Mustangs were called the Terminators and for good reason. They are rated at 390 HP but I understand have been upgraded to about 440. With the upgrades this car is above that.
