I love the car but hardly ever use it and while it is very worthy of showing at car shows, I never had time to do so. My hope is that my beloved Saleen gets the attention it deserves. Over $2,000 of work was done to the Saleen in the summer of 2008 Brand New Brakes (4) Brand new rotors (4) Brand new front and rear brake pads Front brake calipers Brand new Yokohama Tires (4) Front Wheel Alignment Fuel Filter Flush fuel system Plugs AUP 25 Spark Plug Wire Set Intake gasket set Throttle body gasket set Egr Gasket Wiper Blades Clean throttle body New Battery Issues with the car Passenger side Vanity Mirror Light– Needs a passenger side vanity (mirrored) visor. Rear Trunk – Needs new trunk shocks (to keep the trunk open). A/C – The Air Conditioner unit needs a recharge. Tires - The new tires are brand new Yokohama’s and look and handle fantastic! This issue is that the sidewalls are slightly larger than the stock sidewall size and rub the wheel well slightly when going over steep driveways. I tried to find the original tire size back in 2008 but could not locate them. If occasional tire rubbing is a deal breaker, I am willing to deduct $600 off the price of the vehicle to accommodate for the purchase of new tires with a thinner sidewall which will completely stop any and all occasional wheel well rubbing.
