Up for sale is what was the "Love of my life." I bought this truly beautiful Mercedes in 2000 for $32,000 and had planned to keep it indefinitely. Unfortunately, the True love of my life, my wife, became ill three years ago and our bills continue to grow to this day. This car WILL turn heads. It has every option available in 1997 with the exception of the rear window shade which I have yet to see one. It has been regularly maintained since I bought it with 60,000 miles. I changed the oil at that time to pure Castrol synthetic and continued to maintain it with such to preserve the engine life and it still runs like when I bought it. The paint is a brilliant silver metallic. The headlights are as clear as they were in 2000 (probably because it has always been garaged). I used this car for my sales calls across Missouri. The miles are truly highway miles and I have the mileage logs to prove it. The features are as follows: black leather steering wheel and shifter knob in excellent condition, 6 disc CD changer with extra changer cartridge (also cassette), driver/passenger heated seats w/3 memory options, keyless entry (2 key fobs), electric sunroof/moonroof, side and front airbags, original phone, luscious wood trim accents, all original owner's manuals in original leather case, traction control, electrochromatic rear view mirror, privacy glass, original first aid kit, electronic systems check/alert, full size spare with matching rim, brushed alloy engine cover, independent climate control for driver and passenger, goodyear tires with plenty of tread. As I used this for my business car, the passenger seats have rarely been used. However the driver seat does have some wear that would be expected for the year and mileage. The wheels are in great shape, but you may want to replace the center medallions. There are very few, if any, rock chips, but there is a small dent/chip on the front passenger side that shows minor superficial rust (pea size). Although I still drive it from time to time to keep everything working, I broke the handle for the hood release the last time I went to change the oil. Apparently, the passenger side hood latch is not releasing. I plan to take it to the dealer to trouble shoot. I also noticed there are two small paint bubbles that I have included in the photos. I will update this listing as I know more. As I mentioned before, this car has been the love of my life for many years. I took extreme measures to keep it looking and running great. I hate to lose it, but I simply must for my family. You will be extremely pleased to win this auction and the envy of everyone you know.
