Up for bid is a 1944 Willys MB Scout Car serial number 393698. This Jeep appears at least 90 to 95 percent complete . It has been in dry storage for some time and the engine and transmission have been removed and taken apart . The person I bought it from had planned on restoring the Jeep but never proceeded any further than dismantling the engine and transmission. The engine block number is 514579. All the engine and transmission parts were packed in to the back of the body and from what I can see everthing is there . I tried to take enough pics to show everything. The rest of the Jeep is complete and rolls around fine . It does still have 4 combat wheels that look to be in good condition .Everthing under the hood appears to be there including voltage regulator, fuel filter complete head light assembly and original 6 volt wiring. It has the original seat frames, fuel tank, gauges, and other interior controls.The body is dented and rusted and the floors have be patched but is not beyond restoration . The frame is in sound condition and has not been welded. The data tag is still on the frame. I know there is probably more value in parting this Jeep out then selling it complete.But because It is so complete and correct I really feel it is worthy of restoration and would be a nice project because unlike a lot of these Jeeps most all the hard to find parts are there .I am willing to assist with shipping or can deliver in the New England area for an additional fee .
