The condition of this car is very good for the year. It has an all rebuilt top end, numbers matching motor that has had extensive work done to it including cyclinder testing and resurfacing, aluminum heads and a high performance cam to increase compression/H.P. Racing fuel pump, MSD ignition, plugs, cap, rotor and wires were put in too. Every gasket and seal has been replaced on this car. There is also a new battery, starter, alternator( including new HD gauge wires to and from all units along with a fuseable link between the battery) and new (used but refurbished and tested for cracks before installing) exhaust manifolds running to straight dual glasspacks that cut off under the front seats. Very loud and very powerfull. No knocks, ticks or whining from the motor. Smooth but very racecar sounding idle, great oil pressure too. I have aftermarket temp, volt and oil pressure gauges installed to keep an eye on everything. The carb is original but has been rebuilt, cleaned and tuned nicely. The choke has been removed though. Theres a new radiator along with thermostat as well as all hoses and belts put in. The trans is great, no slipping or leaking runs great, amazing torque and acceleration for a car this size. I also have replaced all the bushings in the front end and controll arms since ive owned the car, with the Idler and pitman arm. The brake booster has been replaced with all the lines as well as shoes, pads and rotors up front. Still has drums in the back. I have all the original rims along with 2 inch whitewall tires on them with all 4 original caddy hubcaps but it does come with the rims shown in the pics. I have wider truck tires on the rear right now that make the fronts look like skinny's but they arent theyre just extra wide in back (Looks great and get complimented all the time on the stance) . The body is a 8 out of 10 i would say. There are NO knicks dings or dents. It could use a good sanding and rear quarters only, the front is immaculate. The rear isnt bad really, you cant see any rust, its been blasted and primered black, its really not that bad but would need a little work to be perfect. The bottom lip of the trunk nearest the bumper is starting to bubble but its not bad unless your right on it staring. The whole car is in primer black with a great newer black vinyl top. The engine bay has been painted black as well but it has a finish on it. The interior is great, but could use a new backseat, just the backrest part on the driverside is the worst but other than that its all original and solid gold leather. The carpets good. 8track intact but not hooked up. original radio works and is hooked up to aftermarket 6x9's in the rear. All lights, swithes and knobs work for everything. Its got a pointed rear window. I dont care how bad the economy is,Alot of time and work has been done to this car. Its worth every penny and Its a great daily driver. I would not hesitate to drive to Texas with it. Feel free to make arrangements to see and testdrive my car, I live 20mintes south of Downtown Chicago. Im also willing to drive this car within 200 miles of Chicago myself to a buyer once the deposit has been payed if that helps anyone.
