1976 Jeep CJ5 with 1996 Corvette Competition yellow paint and a Bestop Black denim Super top. Pioneer marine grade CD stereo with JVC amplifier and 10" sub woofers. Racing seats in front and front and rear seats are upholstered in black and yellow vinyl. Tilt steering column with sport steering wheel. 4" superlift suspension lift with skyjacker shocks and stabilizers and 16/35-15LT TSL Boggers mounted on Ultra aluminum wheels. Frame was sandblasted and repainted during restoration. Boby tub and tilt front end manufactured by 4WD hardware. KC daylighters mounted on windshield hinges. Suspension is a stock front Dana 30 and the rear end is a narrowed Ford 9" with a 3.55:1 ratio on both. Powerplant is an AMC 360 C.I. with dual Carter AFB 500cfm carburetors on an aluminum Offenhouser intake with a Crane Commander hydraulic cam. A Flexalite Black Magic electric fan with thermostat control and a 4 core radiator with Moroso overflow tank provide engine cooling. Also has an MSD 6AL igniton with an MSD Blaster high vibration coil and MSD helicore plug wires. Fuel system includes a 15 gallon poly fuel tank with a Holley Blue electric fuel pump and dual Mallory canister type fuel filters with Aeroquip braided fuel lines and anodized fittings. Hedman ceramic coated fenderwell headers and side pipes make up the exhaust system. Consistant show winner and a fun to drive Jeep.
