1986 Jeep CJ7 I bought this jeep a little under a year ago and havent gotten much use out of it and no longer see a need for it. Since my puchase I have had the rear brake lines and both rear brake cylinders replaced at a cost of about $600. This vehicle is over 20 years old and does have its issues. 1.) The gas and temp gauges do not work. 2.) Because of the bigger tires the speedometer shows incorrect speeds. 3.) The ride is quite rough due to the stiff shocks and big tires. 4.) Sometimes you have to fiddle with the spark plug wires to get it running right, due to them arcing out on a bracket or something. However, for the price I am asking, the newer parts are worth that much. The tires have MAYBE 3000 miles on them, same with the shocks. The brakes were replaced late last fall. The fiberglass body is in pretty good shape, and the paint is good. If you do not intend to follow the rules of this auction DO NOT bid or use buy it now.
