This is a nice 1968 Ford mustang Convertible for sale,it retains its original 289 C-code motor and transmission, this car runs and drives great,it is very smooth, tranny shifts nice,the engine is quiet and doesn't smoke,it really does nice going down the road. The car came from the factory with power steering,power Disc Brakes,Power top which goes up and down with no issues,console, clock which still works, and road lamps, all nice options to have, also has a mustang style am/fm radio with 4 speakers which is nice. The car was painted a few years ago and still shows well, it is a decent paint job, any rust was removed and replaced with metal before painted, lower quarters were replaced and then gone over with body filler to smooth out. The floors, frame rails,and torque boxes are all solid no rust, sections of the floor was replaced and was done decent, its not a hack job. The chrome is nice ,has a new rear bumper,tail light bezels,gas cap,and wheel well moldings ,all were just replaced ,the rest of the chrome on the car was decent so i didn't replace it. The engine compartment and trunk are nicely detailed, the underneath of the car is undercoated,neat and clean. The convertible top is in good shape ,it is not new but there are no rips or tears in it and it operates smoothly. The glass on the car is all decent, windows go up and down with no problems. The interior is very nice, dash has no cracks, gauges all look good and they all work, as well as all the lights and blinkers. The console is in good shape,the front seats were just recovered, the back seat is nice,no tears. The door panels, arm rests,chrome interior door handles ,window cranks are all new, just replaced. The trim tag reads as follows : 76A-2dr convert.,Q-Brittany Blue, 6A-Black Vinyl Interior,15B-Feb.15 1968, 89-transportation services, E-3.00:1 limited slip rear axle (POSI) ,W-C4 Auto Transmission. Like i said this is a really nice Driver quality car ,you can take to local cruise ins and car shows and have some fun, the reserve on the car is very reasonable, i've seen coupes sell for more than my reserve is, so bid to win and please don't bid if you don't want to buy, Thank You for looking and good luck.
