My 2002 Toyota MR-2 Spyder (My Baby) is on auction! Black Exterior with a Tan Convertible Top with matching Tan Leather interior. Five Speed Manual Transmission, Power Windows, Power Steering and Brakes. Original Equipment Alloy Wheels with Original Bridgestone Potenza Tires. Four Cylinder Engine with Dual Overhead Camshafts with an Output of 138 H.P. All of the above is pretty much Ho Hum...and pertains to almost all MR-2 Spyders. But...this one is different! The original owner lives in Nebraska...and I purchased the car from him...and what a car this is. He bought the car from the local Toyota Dealer, and the car went into hibernation every winter. The car was only driven on warm sunny days. He changed the oil every 1000 miles....(EVERY THOUSAND MILES)...for the first 6 thousand miles, then every 3 thousand miles. I bought the car a year ago and at that time it had 10,261 miles on the odometer. These frequent oil changes can be verified on CarFax, as well as the fact that the car has never been in an accident, and has Never, Ever, had any paint work done to it. It is ALL ORIGINAL...the only thing that is not original is the battery. This Spyder has the best color combination...Black with Tan Top andTan Leather Interior. The Spyder looks Sporty, yet very Classy! The Tan Convertible Top looks NEW...as the pictures will prove. The original owner when asked, said that he had put the top down on two different occasions, and then only for a day. I have never put the top down...so with that little use, and since the car was always garaged in a climate controlled garage, and never driven during the winter months...it Looks New...enough said! As the pictrures show...all four Alloy wheels are perfect...no scratches and no curb rash. The body shows no Dents, Dings or Scratches. The interior is perfect as well...the leather seats have been kept soft by using leather conditioner twice yearly. I have had the oil changed at the local Toyota dealer...and it has needed nothing else. A very Trouble Free car. The original tires show very little wear,and I would estimate that they will last till 40,000 miles. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts very smoothly. This Spyder does not use any oil and starts right up even in cold weather. So...what I have here is a VERY LOW MILEAGE...MINT CONDITION...ALL ORIGINAL TOYOTA MR-2 SPYDER. This car is fun to drive and handles better than a Porsche Boxster.
