Vehicle Detail

This is a good looking 1998 BMW 528i. It is a perfect commuter car for cruising in style I bought this car a year ago for $7500 with 120,000 to use as a commuter car. My daily commute was started out being 100 roundtrip a day and I needed something that looked good, was comfortable, fast, and good good gas mileage. You'll see in the pictures it looks nice, has wonderful wheels, and the interior and exterior don't begin to look like a 13 year old car. Mechanically it is very sound. I have driven it cross county several times and have done a number of things to it. It has everything you could want, a sun roof, a cassette player (has the hook up for a CD changer in the trunk), automatic transmission, power windows and power locks, cruise control, driver and passenger front AND side airbags and tons of storage. And I am listing this way below Kelly Blue Book and it is a No Reserve auction. As soon as I bought it, my mechanic went thru it and made a number of repairs. He told me the cooling system had been replaced (a common issue with BMWs), and he repaired the power steering system that was leaking ($275), replaced the valve cover gasket to stop the oil leak ($249), replaced the left and right thrust arms ($509), and repaired the sun roof with a new control assembly ($463). So between the $7500 I paid for the car, there was an additional $1500 in repairs. Cosmetically it is exactly as it appears in the photos. The interior is very nice, with no holes, tears, cuts or damage. The exterior has no door dings or dents (i had them all taken out by a "dent doctor"), but there are numerous like scratches on the car. In addition, my son backed into the passenger door. In the pictures you can see where i had the dent pulled out but it is still clearly visable and you can see the bumps and waves in the panel (there was no damage to the interior of the door or any of the mechanisim....it is purely cosmetic). I have nearly $10,000 in the car but because of the age, the miles and the door my NO RESERVE auction starts at $5,000. Here is the good and the bad: The Good: Looks nice (the green is awesome) It is a BMW Mechanically sound Fully loaded.....just the wheels alone are awesome The sun roof of course.....it is a blast to cruise down the highway with the sun roof open You won't find a lower price on a 1998 BMW 528i in this condition Great gas mileage.....it gets over 30 MPG on the highway Bought a new key ($250) and new floor mats ($130) for it The Bad: It is 13 years old It has had lots of owners I have only had it 14 months and don't know the prior history The passenger door dent The trunk only opens with the key (latch on the trunk lid doesn't work) That is it. It is a great commuter car that is fast and gives you great MPG. And you'll look like a million bucks cruising around in the dark green BMW. I have sold everything from sports tickets to airplanes on eBay. I have 100% positive feedback and have had my account for 13 years. Any questions, please ask away. On May-20-11 at 21:55:04 PDT, seller added the following information: My son pointed out that the summary show 14,359 miles. It is 140,359 miles. Sorry for any confusion
