The motor is currently not running, and is a 327 from a 1968 corvette with a Rodchester 4 barrel carburetor that was running great. The motor blew a head gasket and I never finished fixing it. I found a crack in one of the cylinder heads. These heads were torn down and sent to the machine shop after the blown head gasket. They were returned to me and I was trying to torque down a rocker arm stud when I noticed the small crack near the threading for the stud. Needless to say the stud was never able to torque to the correct specs. After this I stopped working on the motor, due to the fact I had spent over $500.00 and countless hours getting it back to running condition. The transmission is a 350 turbo trans that was rebuilt about 6 years ago and worked beautifully when last driven. I had bought a new radiator for the car about 4 years ago as well, and still have that to put in with the sell. The car has been sitting under a tarp for about 4 years. The exterior is not bad with exception of the rear quarter panels that will need some work. The paint is still good over the body, but there is a long scratch over the rear passenger side wheel well. The interior is really good except for a long tear in the bottom of the driver's seat. Almost everything is original except for the engine and the American Racing wheels. Beautiful body design and great for building a powerful muscle car. I work a lot and simply don't have the time or money to make it run and look good, I have also recently become quite interested in the 1994-1997 Firebird/Trans am.
