Vehicle Detail
I am selling my father-in-laws custom 1994 Honda Gold Wing Trike with a Lehman kit. This trike is good to go and could be ridden anywhere. NOTE: THIS TRIKE HAS A REBUILT TITLE! THE TRIKE'S CURRENT CONDITION IS REPRESENTED IN THE ATTACHED PICTURES! in the interest of full disclosure, I will tell you how this trike came to be considered a "rebuilt" vehicle. The only damage (resulting in the "rebuilt" classification) was that the trike had a cracked/broken windshield, had obvious signs of scratches and chips to the dash and the head light was broken. No frame damage, no bent bars, etc. The trike was purchased from a reputable salvage dealer and RIDDEN HOME that day! The unit had approximately 46,000 miles on it when purchased. This trike runs and drives great. Now with all of the history out of the way, here is the list of what this auction item has: FEATURES Less than 2,500 miles on a NEW engine (Installed in 2008)Lehman Trike Kit1968 Camaro Daytona Yellow PaintCustom Pin Striping4 inch Raked Forks & "Power Steer" KitFoot Boards & Highway BoardsWind DeflectorsWood Grain Dash"Like new" TiresAM/FM Cassette (Cassette Door is Jammed)Front & Back Seat Rests & Passenger Arm Rests2 Sets of Helmets w/ Intercom Factory CB SystemAll Lights WorkAluminum Rear RimsMustang II Rear End5 Speed Trans w/ ReverseNew BatteryNew WindshieldCustom CoverWig-Wag Safety Headlight SwitchCruiseMatching TrailerALWAYS STORED INSIDE Known Issues :Paint has a few minor scratches on right rear fenderStorage box on back of trike will not open (latch cable jammed) This trike is for sale locally, so I had to put a reserve on this auction that matches that value. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if my father-in-law sells the trike locally. Because this is a used vehicle, I must sell "AS-IS" with no warranty what so ever. The buyer will obviously have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle in person to determine that what we've said here is accurate. You will not be disappointed in this trike. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PICTURES! These are good quality shots of the vehicle and trailer and represent it's condition fairly. This trike can be seen locally in Leitchfield, Kentucky by appointment. You are welcome to contact us with questions about this trike. We may consider a classic car or truck in trade. Contact me with such offers. I do my best to answer all questions in a timely manner. I run these listings from my small business, and usually present between the hours of 9AM and 5PM CST. Questions submitted during evening hours or weekends will be answered on the nest business day. Please do not wait until the last hour of the auction and ask a critical question! I have been selling on E-Bay for many years and I follow e-Bay's guidelines without fail. SHIPPING - As I mentioned earlier, this trike can be ridden as-is virtually anywhere. This doesn't mean we (the sellers) are willing to ride it hundreds of miles, though the trike is set to go anywhere. However, my father-in-law has offered to ride the trike up to a distance of 150 miles from Leitchfield (western Kentucky) free of charge! Additionally, we will work with you in arranging pick up or delivery in any way possible. Payment - A $500 deposit is required within 5 days of auction end. Balance of monies due must be paid by the time pick up occurs. If you do not plan to pay using PayPal or advanced payment, CASH is required at the time of delivery of the trike (sorry, due to scammers, no checks or money orders will be accepted at delivery - please don't ask). I tend to under-rate and overly criticize my items so buyers will not be disappointed later. I have offered every criticism about this trike that I could find upon close inspection when I took these pictures. My father-in-law offered details about all of the features of this vehicle, I feel certain he left out some of the extras this trike has (the dash looks fully instrumented and loaded with buttons which we didn't detail). Those of you who know anything about trikes, or Lehman kits know the quality of this item better than me. We are selling the trike because the trike has not been ridden more than 2,500 miles in the last four years. It's time for it to find a new home and go to someone who will enjoy it as much as he did. Thanks for looking at our item, and good luck if you decide to bid!
