For auction is a 1983 Porsche 944. I bought this over the winter for my son, but he ended up buying another vehicle. Car's overall condition is good. Engine starts and runs excellent. No smoke or leaks. Transmission shifts well. Suspension is tight and brakes operate nicely. The interior and rugs are in nice shape for year. No rips or tears. Has a Clarion CD play the works well. All electrics and lights work as they should.New battery.Tires have approx. 75% tread on cookie cutter wheels. The wheels should be refinished.The car has little noticeable rust, undercarriage is very solid. Rear end has a slight howl and a bit of play at higher speeds. Not sure of the specific cause.Ignition switch has been altered to a push button on dash, but will not start unless key is in run position. Paint has a number of chips mainly in the hood and front end.. Needs a good compounding, but shine will come up. AC does not blow cold.Has slight dents in Drivers door, Passengers rear quarter panel , front fenderand behind sunroof.. This car goes down the road nicely and is very quick. The car is registered but not inspected. I see no reason for the car not to pass inspection. This would make a nice track car or a drive and restore project.
