You are bidding on a 1964 Falcon Sprint. It is a 4 speed car with a bench seat. I'm told this combination is rare. This car was born with a 289Hi Po but this is not the original motor. It is a period correct 289 Hi Po solid lifter originally 271 hp. It now has a new manifold and 4bbl This motor runs real strong and has 10k on rebuild. This is a REAL Sprint not a badged addition. The car was restored over a 10 year period, ending with the paint last year when I bought the car from the owner.The pain and body work is good but not professional.I think it needs to be blocked and re-sprayed which is what I will do if I don't reach the low reserve I have on it. The body is nice and solid and any rusted areas were replaced and it has new bumpers and trim is great. I have new 15" Magnim wheels and BF tires with new air shocks to give it a great ride hight and 60's look. It has new brakes, exhaust system,carburator and alternator. The interior looks great. The seam behind the drivers side is coming apart but can not be seen(easy repair). I bought this car with the idea of turning it into a Pro Touring unit. I don't want to ruin an original 289 Sprint and the Pro Touring thing looks way to expensive right now. I have this vehicle priced realizing it needs some attention and thus the reserve is very fair. I apologize for that. The seller was sure it was in the car as new and I wonder if it was "Dealer Installed". Regardless, it is what it is. It is now a 289. I will continue to research on how I got this information and post at that time. Again, I am sorry for any unintended misinformation.
