1965 Triumph 650 Trophy TR6SR, near mint condition, matching numbers, totally stock and professionally restored to original, completely rebuilt upper and lower engine, transmission, clutch and primary. Tank was repainted to original Triumph Burnished Gold with White and Blue Pinstripe factory colors during 2003-2005 restoration. Motorcycle was part of collection and was never ridden by original owner after it was restored. I am the second owner, other than dealers. I purchased the piece in spring 2008 fully restored with 14,550 original miles on it, to turn it into a show quality rider. Regasketed primary and transmission during professional inspection. Motorcycle is highway geared. Have replaced fork seals, front tire and tach cable since purchase. I have ridden the motorcycle 1,851 miles since the original restoration in 2005, there are now 16,401 actual miles on the bike since new. Piece comes with original tool kit, original removable fork lock and key, and the original 15 page 1965 sales brochure received by the original owner. I am willing to reduce price of motorcycle $400, if I keep tool kit, fork lock and brochure. Motorcycle will be shipped freshly serviced and ready to ride. Please note, one of the pictures shows bike with a black seat. I stored the original new condition grey-top seat due to its rarity. The original grey-top seat is now back on the motorcycle as shown in the right side view. Picture of speedometer and tach shows mileage before my last ride - bike is idling at 1100 rpm. The buyer will not be dissatisfied with their purchase. It is a top quality 45+ year old restored Triumph motorcycle, properly broken in, that will run for years. Rechrome the pipes, give it a bath and shine it up and its showroom quality again! This is a restorers dream. It's an ideal candidate for a 100 point restoration worth $15-20,000, or more. This is the kind of motorcycle that could easily sit and sparkle in the corner of a prominent attorney's office in Boston or NYC, but I hope it goes to a rider that likes it when everyone stops and looks as you go by.
