Here is a clean 1996 Ranger Supercab 4.0 V6 4x4 in "STX" trim. These Rangers are becoming hard to find, especially unmolested and highly optioned like this one. The pictures really speak for themselves. This truck is not beat up. NO accidents, original paint and trim, lights and glass all in great condition. NO major dents or scratches. People are surprised when I tell them it's a 96. I even keep full coverage on it because of the condition. Brand new $800 31x10.5x15 Michelin LTX M/S tires. Inspection is good through 1/2012. I bought this pick-up to get me through the recent winter here in VA but I never ended up having to use the 4x4. It's a 3rd vehicle for myself and I know someone could use and enjoy it more. The control-trac electronic 4x4 system functions and engages properly, as does the engine and transmission. No leaks or mechanical problems. All the power accessories work. This truck has been maintained and not off-roaded or modified. The only things worth mentioning as far as flaws would be some cuts in the headliner due to age (not sagging though) and on the drivers seat there's about a 1.5 inch tear in the side bolster. If you are looking for a cheap, beat up work truck, this is NOT it. If you have been searching for a sharp 4x4 Ranger Supercab that is a true gem, you just found it. You will get the original window sticker, almost $25,000 when new. What a great gift for a college grad or an extra vehicle that serves many purposes.
