1986 CJ7 Renegade, 6 cylinder, automatic. This is meant as a project Jeep. I have taken the front fenders off and started on the engine. Before it was taken a part is was running well just leaked oil as the good old Jeeps do. Please see pictures for rust areas. It was painted green (yes with spray cans), original color is brown. Floor boards behind seats are solid, See pictures for back seat floor. The driver side is better rust wise then the passenger side. I have both hard top and soft top. The frame for the soft top is complete but I did need to repair one of the down rod connections at the plastic connection where it bends. The engine is not frozen, I am able to turn the flywheel by hand, As far as I know this is the origianl motor but e-bay only had the 4 in the pull down menu?? See pictures for parts and rust, Most of the rust is surface rust besides the tailgate. I have a new windshield frame. No passenger seat but do have the frame/base. Also have the folding back seat. I have the complete original rug but it is used and worn like all of the parts are. Please take a look and see if this is for you. I am not going to be leaving the Jeep family but just need one that is ready to go. This Jeep was my everyday driver for about 5 years and did have some body work done on the quarter panels, then I got the great idea to completly restore it, then the kids came along and my how time gets away from you. Now time and kids make the restoration a very long job and I am looking for one I can enjoy now. Will need to be flatbed and buyer is responsable for all pick up/shipping costs. If you do buy I can hold onto the jeep until it can be picked up. I do ask that $100 dollars be put down right after purchase and the balance paid within 7 days. I am opening the bid at $500 and if that is where it ends so be it, it could be parted out for more but again time and kids do not allow. Good luck and please contact me with any questions.
