You are bidding on a one owner 1964 Chevrolet Impala convertible which I ordered from the factory in 1964. I have a complete file on every repair made on the vehicle. Car, obviously, has matching numbers. It has the original 283 motor and aluminum 2 speed powerglide transmission. Both the motor and transmission were overhauled at 100,000 miles. Car has factory drum brakes, NOT power. Carpeting and seats are in excellent condition. AM radio. Power steering. Tinted windshield and padded dash. Original wheel covers in excellent condition. Trunk area looks clean and original, original jack and boot cover. Car has the original black and yellow California license plate and registration is current. Convertible top was replaced several years ago. Car has always been garaged and covered with a car cover. Car was repainted in 1978, same color as original, desert beige. Car is a California car but living a mile away from the ocean, there is a little rust under the doors. There are a few nicks, dings, and scratches but the metal is solid. The fabric on the driver's door at the bottom needs repair, very minor. Car is located in Manhattan Beach, California, and available to be seen if you contact me in advance. Car is being sold as is.
