This is one of the last 123 series wagons Mercedes built . It was made in May of 1985 and originally sold in August of the same year in Arizona . This car has always only remained in Arizona and California . It has always been garaged and pampered and it shows . It also comes with a whole folder of service records , literature and the manuals .  This wagon was finished in Mercedes Benz "classic white " ( MB code 737) with palomino color MB-tex interior . The body is in amazing condition without any rust , as you can see in the many pictures i posted . The paint is also still very shiny and it seems to be the original paint on every panel .  The interior is also super clean . The seats have always been covered with sheep skins and so they look like new . The wood panels are still beautiful and without the usual discolorations or cracks . The door panels and carpets look like they are only a couple of years old and not 26 . Back then , cars were really built to last a lifetime and not just until the next years model comes along .  For the last 10 years it was owned by a now retired Mercedes Benz technician . All the little things which usually need extra attention on these cars have always been taken care of right away . That is why , all the gauges are working fine , the air-conditioning is blowing cold , the cruise control , power windows and door-locks all work the way they should . Even the original Becker radio works great , with the power antenna going up and down . The BF Goodrich tires have less than 2000 miles on them and the brakes are new . Last week the oil was changed , the valves adjusted and a new hood insulation pad was installed .  The original headlights were replaced by the european style headlights , which are a lot brighter and give the car a more modern appearance . I also still have the original headlights , so you could choose , which ones to keep . The rims were also replaced with a set of newer Mercedes e-class rims . If you prefer the original style rims , i can also put them back on instead .  I just came back from a 130 mile trip last night and this car runs terrific . It has plenty of power and is not slow at all . I was cruising with almost 90 mph nonstop and the car feels very solid at this kind of speed . There are no strange rattles or noises of any kind .  It is not often , that you see the 123 series station wagons in such clean condition . This car has only 188k miles on it , has been maintained properly and drives accordingly . You often see these kind of cars with 400k -500k miles here on Ebay and still driving well . Whoever gets this wagon , should not be disappointed . If you have any questions , need some more pictures , have it checked out or would like to schedule a test drive , feel free to send me a note .
