RARE 1950 GMC 100 5 Window Truck, Frame Off Restored and Clean! Selling at NO RESERVE!! Not your everyday Chevy, these GMC's are getting VERY hard to find! This original New Mexico farm truck was rescued over the past few years and is now a great driver for any GM Truck Enthusiast. The 283 Motor was completely rebuilt and runs like a top (see video below) The 4 speed manual transmission (with granny gear) is from an early 70s Chevy. The interior was completely redone and the seat is new. Note the original dash and vintage gauges. NO RUST ANYWHERE...see the pics of the cab corners, floor and cab mounts. Tires are like new with plenty of tread. Frame and undercarriage were painted during the restoration...see mid-restoration photos The sheetmetal was not cut, no patch panels were used. No bondo or filler on this truck. Although over $15K was invested into this truck during restoration, the truck was not professionally restored. This 5 Window was restored by a hobbyist and some of the dents on the body were not pulled out or fixed during restoration prior to painting. (See detailed pictures). Paint shines and there are no major dings or scratches. Truck looks excellent as a "5 footer". All of the hard, expensive work was done during the frame off. You can buy a few new fenders and have yourself a show truck. LMC and other manufacturers have inexpensive replacement parts for these 50s trucks! Very original truck aside from the new seat and paint. Fires right up, drives straights and stops straight. A truly joy to drive and gets all the looks. Collector owned. Collector has Street rods, frame off restored muscle cars, woody's, Mopar's, classic trucks, etc and this truck is the most original of the lot.
