For sale is a 1990 MK2 VW Gti Car has LESS THAN 100,000 Miles on it still runs strong, compression of the engine is above what it is supposed to be which is great! Car did not have the speedometer sent back because theres no way of doing that so it does read 190k but i have papers to show the engine was rebuilt. I went over some paper work and realized in 2009 the head gasket was redone, new timing belt kit, cleaned out the head and valves replacing it with new rings. Mobil One mechanic shop in 2009 did a 16v clutch kit, one main shaft seal replaced, rebuild of the rod shifter. Manual 5-Speed car, 1.8l 16v engine All engine wise replaced and fixed: Bosch battery replaced in '10 Durlast Alternator was changed in '10 Durlast Starter was changed in '09 Knock sensor and oxygen sensor both replaced in '09 New syncro kit, bearings and clutch assy replaced in '08 New ignition switch, repair wiring on ignition coil, repair wiring for brake lights all done at Mobil One mechanic shop in '10 Spark plugs and oil changes are changed each season ECU replaced in '10 Modified on the car: Has 15" Sportmaxx 002 wheels, 32 offset in front 0 offset in the back (staggered set up) rear wheels are corroded Custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler w/stainless steel tip done by an exhaust shop Converted into fuel injection with a fuel rail and injectors from a MK3 VR6 Raceland Coilovers 5000k HIDs from DDM Tuning which have a lifetime warranty 35% Tint all around MOMO "pistol" shifter Sony radio with aux plug in Front and Rear Big bumpers instead of the stock small euro bumpers Two new tires in front, two rears need to be replaced Car runs amazing, very tight suspension fun to drive around in its just time to let this thing go, i'm buying a newer car I need the cash ASAP The GTI is primered gray, all holes on the doors are filled in the VW emblem on the back was filled in, side markers are filled in, i do have the paint for the car just never got around to finishing it the paint is Porsche Schwarz Black, i have all the primer and color everything needed to paint the car, you just need to finish the bodywork yourself. I want $3250 for the car, it has been through a lot of work I have put around 6k or more into the car i'm only asking for about half back.
