My good friend and co-worker bought this truck new at Van Buren GMC in 1993 from a friend of mine who was and still is a salesman there. I purchased it from him in 1999/2000 and passed it on to my son in 2004. My son purchased a new Pontiac in 2008 and had not used it since. It sat in my mother-in-law's driveway doing nothing. I took it back and was going to use it as a knock around vehicle. However I can not find the solution to this problem THE VEHICLE STARTS AND RUNS FOR ABOUT 2-3 MINUTES THEN IT STALLS ALMOST STARVING FOR GAS GIVE THE FEELING AS IF IT IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS. I GIVE UP!!!!!! My heart is not in it and I really don't need it and have gotten tired of throwing money at it and really don't see myself using it much anyway. I think it might be a clogged cat, I put a cut in the head pipe to try to relieve pressure, but problem is still there. There is a nice Glasstite cap. the hydrolic pistons are shot so the door closes on its own. There is a bed liner that was installed when the vehicle was new! It is very solid and was well maintained until my son took ownership, (come on we all have one in all of our families) Interior is nice. 350 V-8 Automatic fourwheel drive! This is what I replaced in my attempt to solve this and get it road worthy Fuel pump Tune up: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, Battery Alternator This is what is wrong A/C not working Clear Coat is peeling on hood (see picture) Hood was repainted, vehicle was damaged at dealer in 1994 Dent left fron fender (see picture) Scraped up left rear quarter Door handle driver side is broken/craked but works Stalling problem mentioned above Terms of sale Must pay $500 (non refundable) deposit within 48 hours after the end of the auction, full payment expected in 7 days Vehicle does not operate under it's own power. Buyer must arrange for transportation of vehicle Buyer must have vehicle removed within three weeks of close of auction Vehicle is being sold in "As Is Condition" It is up to the buyer to arrange to view or have someone else view the vehicle *** The rear bumper is rusted I have another used one that goes with the truck that I forgot to mention*** I SOLD MANY ITEMS ON E-BAY BUT NEVER A VEHICLE SO THIS IS A FIRST FOR ME, E-MAIL ME FOR MY PHONE NUMBER SO WE CAN ARRANGE TO LOOK AT IT PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANY QUESTIONS OR E-MAILS OFFERING ME SOME STUPID LOW NUMBER THE LOCAL JUNK MAN WHO I DO KNOW WILL GIVE ME OVER $500 SO WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I SELL IT TO A TOTAL STRANGER FOR LESS!!!!!!!
