Up for Auction is a 1939 Ford Standard Coupe. This is an all steel body that is in excellent condition. This has the 85 HP flathead V8. This 39 was done back in the mid 80's. Has 4 new 6:00/16 Ford Script Wide Whitewall Tires. The Floors and the trunk floor is all original and no patches!!!! Has the original jack also. There has only been 930 miles since it was done. The car has been in a climate controled heated garage. This is not a 100 point restoration but is a very very nice car! The estate I got the car from the son said his dad rebuilt the engine when he did the car back in the 80's.As you can tell by the miles he rarely took the car out. Car runs and drives excellent. I drove the car back when I bought it approx 50 miles and it never missed a beat!!! The paint is nice and shiney but being it was done back in the 80's and it looks like it was laquer paint it is show the typical patina of paint that old. The hood and grill may be a 1938 I'm not sure so do your homework. The interior is very clean and is in excellent condition. Gauges all work!! Glass is all nice. You can look long and hard and wont find many 39's this nice!!! I've tried to describe this 39 the best I can. This car also has Right and Left wiper and right and left tailights!!. Also has optional fog lights on the front. I have had e-mails that it does have a 1938 hood and grill on it and a 1938 dash. I do not know why it has the 38 parts on it maybe its the way he wanted it. I have some pics when he got it in 1973 and a pic with him standing beside the car when finished.
