Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 2004 GSX-R 750... low miles, great condition, title in hand. In the last three years I have put about 50 miles on this bike, and the time has come for me to part ways with it. I would LOVE to keep this bike, and I'm absolutely not just saying that! I am the second owner - bought it with 1400 miles on it 5 years ago. Changed the oil and filter every 1000 miles, and the current oil only has about 100 miles on it. The bike was stored in a heated garage every winter I had it - except this last one, when it was covered and under a roof and never saw any weather. Everything on the bike works perfectly. There are two tiny dents in the gas tank (shown in photo) and a few minor scratches elsewhere, but any flaws are merely cosmetic, and are the results of storage (not riding) accidents. The bike tipped into a canoe once and that's how the crack (also shown in photo) got in the left fairing, but I touched it up and you can barely see it. Also, my dad dropped a piece of plywood onto the rear seat cowl, cracking the mounting bracket inside. He glued the hell out of it though, and now it's literally stronger than it was before it was broken. And I do have the rear seat - it just wasn't on the bike at the time. Also, the bike tipped over on its right side once, but the sliders caught it and it barely touched the fairing. Most of the extras I put on the bike are not performance related (except for the steering damper and exhaust). If you can get (or need) everything this bike has to offer performance-wise out of the factory setup (and in an urban environment), then you are a rare specimen. Extras include the following... Pirelli Supercorsa Pro tires front and back - about half the tread is left, and they were originally race take-offs. Yoshimura carbon fiber slip-on exhaust, stubbied (shortened) by me. Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen. Front and rear flush mount turn signals - the front ones are awesome (can't remember where I got them or who makes them), and the rear ones are just alright (on the bike when I got it). A generic, but clean looking undertail (on the bike when I got it). Hyperpro RSC top-mount steering damper - hands down the best damper you can buy. If you don't know what RSC stands for, read about it on the Hyperpro website, as they are the only company who makes this type of damper. Got it on eBay and the jackass who sold it to me forgot to mention that some of the internal seals were starting to go, so when I got it I had it professionaly rebuilt by Hyperpro and it is literally like brand new now ($500.00 value including the mounting bracket) with maybe 50 miles on it. This damper is one of the best and most important investments you can make for one of these bikes, I don't care what anyone else tells you. Frame and swingarm sliders. An LED lighting setup I came up with for the license plate. Additional stuff that comes as part of the deal (unless you don't want it, in which case we can work something out) includes... 5 Pirelli Supercorsa Pro race take-off tires (three rear and two front - which is about the rate you should go through them...). In my opinion, race take-offs are about the best way to go when it comes to sportbike tires because they're worn down on the sides and there's almost full tread left in the middle - which is where you'll be needing it most of the time. And you don't have to break them in. Black leather Alpinestars jacket (size 44). Black Alpinestars S-MX Air Carbon gloves (size XL), practically brand new. Home made bike stand. Any questions, please call me at 606-547-6565, as I'd be happy to talk. Thanks for your time and consideration, and please only bid if you're serious about buying. -Ryan
