RELIST DUE TO BUYER ASKING QUESTIONS AFTER THEY A=LREADY WON THE ITEM AND FINDDING OUT IT WON'T WORK FOR HIM SO PLEASE SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY AND NOW WITH NO RESERVE!!! This unique factory right hand drive postal scout is being sold at NO RESERVE and i have included A link to over 87 large close up pics of every square corner of this scout of both the flaws and the good sides as I Don't Want The New Buyer or I To Have Any Surprises When They Show Up To Take The scout Home, so please look and read carefully and ask any and all questions:). http://img825.imageshack.us/g/img4943a.jpg/!! This little binder came to me with a call of a strange scout and when i heard what it was described as i had to see it and you know how it goes once i saw it i had to have it! I've heard of this odd scouts in the past but never seen one that still survives, so when the opportunity came i bought this one and have drove it all over and really enjoyed it and always gets alot of questions and looks, but it is time for it to go to a new home. Since the start of the scout International built factory right hadn drive units to compete against jeep with sales to U.S postal service , so this is a factory set-up not a cheap conversion. It is built just like any other scout just in reverse and can be switched over , but a good parts vehicle would be needed and i think it would be a shame. I have it is listed with a low low reserve that is far less then what i paid , but iv had my fun with it. BODY/EXTERIOR- Nice and clean lookin litte scout with a little dent on driver top portion of fender but other then that it is straight and accident free. A older exterior repaint of metallic brown was sprayed over the factory postal white years ago and shows its age and has bubbles and rust showing its ugly head in bottom areas of front and rear fenders. Since this was a work horse and needed to be on the road rain, sun or snow the rear area suffers from rust along rear floor corners at very back and up toward wheel well and if restoration is the goal it will need rear floors at some point , but it can be drivin as is and enjoyed for what it is for many years just as i have done. ( please look at all pics on link and shoot me a email if more is desired) INTERIOR- Top has never been off and still has original panels and headliner in place. It came from factory with just one seat but still has spots for the others to be bolted in, aftermarket cd player has been installed original front and rear mat shows its age and is wearing out along with seat. DRIVE-TRAIN / MECHANICAL The motor is the original 258 6cyl and has been rebuilt so it is a dependable driver and runs very smooth and strong with no smoking or noises. Complete conversion to run on propane and does nice on fuel mileage, It can easily be converted back if different carb is put on and original gas tank is installed( included) original auto trans with pwr steering and pwr disc brakes up front.. OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS TO MAKE NOTE OF- This scout is just a good and fun unique driver that makes a great conversation piece with a low low reserve!! If ou live in a country where you have to convert to rhd this would be a great addition as no conversion is needed! GOOD LUCK PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS 425-737-4527
