I had plans to restore it because it needs no mechanical work that I am aware of and very, very minor body work. It should be looked over by someone who knows vw since it sat for so long. All this westy needs is care on the inside and would be a fun project. However, I quickly discovered that I do not do well with manual drive and decided to get an automatic. Makes me sad because these older buses have all the character. Will take very little to make it everyones envy. Even as is I get attention in it. But I hope you will enjoy doing what I have been dreaming about....... This bus has only 29,600 miles. It has been stored over 10 years and has an abandoned title so is not street legal yet and needs to be towed.
