. Perfect car to restore or drive it like it is. This 1970 Ford Galaxie is in very good shape! The odometer reads 88,XXX miles, take it for what its worth. The engine was completely rebuilt about 700-800 miles ago. This baby will fly! It has a 351w with an automatic C6 transmission and yes it does indeed have the Ford 9" rearend. Price those 3 items alone if youd like and see what you find! Its a 4-door and has a factory am radio. It has ac that worked fine until it was parked inside about a year ago. The car is pretty much complete. It is missing the radio antenna and the drivers side wiper blade. The interior is good except 2 places in the front seat where the material is splitting at a seam and the dash has multiple cracks. The carpet is good except for one small spot under the drivers feet. All of the trim pieces are with the car even if not currently installed. This car starts up fine and runs and drives great. The engine is exceptionally strong. It has to be, this things built like a tank! The transmission shifts as smoothly as it should. It has a new set of tires on it and has a spare. A true factory bumper jack that came with the car. The trunks big enough in this Galaxie to fit most imports and still have room for groceries! Even without a complete restoration this can be an awesome looking, fast a$$ car for very little money! The car is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. It must be picked up in person and the ONLY form of payment accepted is cash.
