1974 HONDA 450 DOHC, HM 319, NO RESERVE. HMCB450-1. 6,700 actual Miles, last ridden in summer of 1998. In 1998 I drained gas, put in new gas, changed oil and it started right up but was sluggish---had motorcycle mechanic clean carbs and it ran like a "top". Rode a few short trips in the summer of 98. It has been stored inside and covered since that time. Still has 1/2 tank of fuel in it. Fuel pet cock was shut off. Fuel smells and tank has interior surface rust - will definitely have to be cleaned out. Stepped on foot starter several times, engine turns over as it should. Sold as is. Purchased new in 1974 from Twin City Honda, Crystal city, MO. It has all original parts except tires. I had new tires put on it in 1994. The Wixom BNI Faring, Model 133 was put on the bike in 1974 when it was purchased. Exterior looks new, only rust spot is on the chrome strip in front of the handle barns and below guages ~~ small nickle size spots, see in photo. NO dents, NEVER laid down, ALWAYS stored inside. For 37 years old, EXTERIOR IS PERFECT, tire tread is perfect but sides are checked. Bike was running perfect when I parked and covered it in August of 1998. Only damage is to chrome luggage rack-front tube is broken-see photo. Bike was not detailed just a light power wash to remove dust only. Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding.
