1962 Fiat Multipla. Buy this car and you'll never be lonely again. You cannot go anywhere without capturing lots of smiles and tons of people snapping pictures. Cute as a bug, this orignal "mini-van" brightens anyone's day. Purchased in 2005, this Multipla underwent a year of updates, including bodywork, new windshield (hard to find!), new hubcaps and polished side molding, new rubber floor mats, front to back, and an upgrade from the original 600CC engine to a 1000CC Abarth racer - work done by Chris Obert - somewhat famous in the Fiat circles. While tiny, this car now has plenty of power for it's weight and does just fine on freeways! Starts and runs well, I drive it to work and around town all the time. * Over $23,000 of repairs and restoration. the motor and drivetrain was completely worked over by Chris Obert in Santa Cruz. I still have invoices. * Gas tank clean, new sending unit.* Rare, sought after model. Rarely even on eBay.* Abarth motor installation done right: includes an extra radiator up front to help handle the cooling of the Abarth Motor. Never had an overheating problem, not on hot days, long drives - works super!* Less than 10,000 KM since restoration. The Odometer reads 17,665 but that's clearly not the KM on the vehicle or the restoration.* Seats fold into three configurations: Standard two rows of bench seats, the rear seat folded flat for cargo, or both seats laying down into camper / bed configuration!
