Vehicle Detail

For your cruising pleasure. . . . . my 1984 Honda Goldwing Standard, in excellent condition. This is a Colorado Bike so there is no rust whatsoever, she has been garage kept. Runs great and as straight as an arrow. She has air assisted suspension, which holds air just fine. The seat backrest and luggage rack are original Honda. She's had a recent oil change, and well maintained. Ignition switch was just replaced. Front tire and rear brake pads were replaced last summer, 2010. Front tire only has 2,000 miles on it Stator (alternator) and battery were replaced in 2010, this is a very expensive and common repair, (make sure it has been done if you are comparing bikes)Starter Clutch was rebuilt when alternator replaced. Back tire was replaced in 2008, and only has 5,000 miles on it. Exhaust is original with no rust. Upholstery is in excellent condition. Stereo radio works All Electric Systems work. Antenna needs to be replaced. Everything is original except the saddlebags. Would enjoy the opportunity to go from Coast To Coast on this bike. Pickup in Fort Collins Colorado or will help your Carrier load the bike. Why not come out and enjoy a ride thru the Colorado Mountains before heading home!! This is a great Classic with many, many miles left, most people can't believe it is a 1984 bike Shipping arrangements and/or pick up are the buyer’s responsibility. $500 deposit via PayPal due within 48 hours of auction end. The remaining balance is due within 10 days of auction end via cashiers check, money order or cash in person. My bike won’t be released until funds have cleared the bank. On May-02-11 at 16:41:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Biography of “My Girl” The first 21 years of her life were quite stable, she lived in a loving home, her father was a Colorado State University professor. He really didn’t ride her much as he only put about a 1,000-1,500 miles per year on her. He was content in showing her off as his little girl. But at the age of 21 she became quite wild and has had a series of three relationships all with married men and all from the same church motorcycle club. Each kept her for 2 years. The only stable relationship has been her mechanic’s shop where she has been cared for since birth. She is a rare girl, there were only about 300 Honda Standards built (or so I hear from my many new friends on EB) What confuses most Honda aficionados is the faring and saddle bags which have both been added. I thought they were original equipment, as they fit very well. The alternator replacement is the largest problem with this breed, but that was taken care of when a new Rick’s Stator (alternator) was installed with soldered connectors. The two toggle switches, next to the new ignition switch, are for future use and she also has a cruise control which is really nice on long trips. She is still searching for the right relationship. She is very healthy and has great bones. I hope you have appreciated this history of my girl, I wish I could keep her but she has a bad case of wanderlust. If you are interested in a tour around Colorado before heading home, I'd be glad to help you with that. Happy bidding!!! Timing belt is recommended to be replaced at 40,000 miles.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ For your cruising pleasure. . . . . my 1984 Honda Goldwing Standard, in excellent condition.
