Regrettably selling my 1965 Triumph Bonneville. I've owned this bike for about 4 years and the previous owner had the bike for 18 years during which time he did a lot of work restoring it including a complete engine rebuild about 1,000 miles ago. Items that are not original are paint (beautiful old-English white), exhaust, Boyer ignition with 12 volt conversion, coils, monoblocks sleeved, seat nicely covered with leather. Odometer / speedo is not working correctly, tach has been rebuilt. The bike has matching numbers and a clear title in hand. Manual is included. This is not a show bike but certainly one that turns heads and is a lot of fun to ride. Would be an easy restoration if you want it to be 100% correct. The bike has been stored the last 2 years in a temperature controlled garage with the battery on a tender. Although the bike ran well the last time I rode it, I can't get it to run now. It starts first / second kick and then dies when you open the throttle. I'm guessing it needs the carbs serviced after sitting. I will sell the bike as is with a very low starting bid and no reserve. If it doesn't sell this week, I'll get it to a shop to clean out the carbs and then sell at a higher reserve. See my 100% feed back and bid with confidence.
