1955 Buick Special Convertible. Rare 3 Speed Manual factory transmission. 322 nailhead engine, power brakes. Car Runs. White paint with red interior and a very straight body. I was told by the previous owner that the brakes were redone prior to my purchasing this car. I thought it had power brakes, but now I am not sure as I cannot locate the brake booster. Therefore, I am going to say that the car has manual brakes. Additionally, my neighbor informed me that the car may have had power steering at one time based on a quick look at the suspension and the steering box, but currently there is no power steering pump or reservoir so I have no way to be sure as I am not a mechanic.On Apr-28-11 at 08:58:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Despite having considerably more invested in the car than the current bid I have decided to remove the reserve as I need the money.
