Purchased new by me from a BMW dealer and has seen only occasional local use. It has been serviced regularly and has only seen less than 50 miles of dirt roads and NO off-road use. Many feel that the 1150 GS is a better bike for mainly road use because of its weight and more solid feel compared to the 1200. It also is desired because it has a metal tank and does not have the plastic like feel of the 1200.This bike is a stock GS other than BMW tank bag, Adventure headlight cover and windscreen (both are new). Additionally, the bike is equipped with factory ABS and heated grips as well as an RCU passenger backrest with a Nelson Rigg Overnighter mounted on the backrest. No salt air, smog or salted roads during inclement weather to cause corrosion issues. I am the original owner and purchased this bike from Sierra BMW who has has performed all of the service on this bike. Because this bike has so few miles on it, it has not had many scheduled service events, but I have had regular "annual" service performed. I have the original owners manual and the included original tool kit is still under the seat. This bike is 50 state emissions compliant and has no modifications to the exhaust system.The Continental TKC 80 tires (front & rear) have 1,350 miles on them, none of which are off road. They have at most 15 miles on dirt/gravel roads. There are no other scratches, dents, dings or other issues that you cannot see in the pictures. The bike is exactly as advertised and is in the condition you would expect for it's mileage. Normal wear and tear should be assumed as you can't ride 3500 miles without it evidencing SOME of use. THIS BIKE HAS NO SURPRISES. I don't want to waste your time or mine. Carefully check my feedback and you will see that I understate the condition of every item so nobody is disappointed and I get great feedback for it. The bike has been serviced in the last 500 miles and is ready to ride cross country WITHOUT A PROBLEM.This bike is being offered above blue book value due to its prime condition and very low mileage. For this reason you will likely need to be a CASH BUYER as you will probably NOT be able to get bank financing at this price.This bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It has never been damaged or had any damage repairs. It has never been laid down or crashed in any way. I hold the clear title to this bike.If like many, you prefer the 1150GS over the 1200GS, than this bike is for you. Very few of these with such low miles are left. This one is in the very desirable Pacific Blue and Alpine White paint.This is the same model bike that Charley Boorman and Ewan Mcgregor used for their around the world adventure in The Long Way Round. but without the extra large tank.
