Up for sale is a 1967 Porsche 912 coupe. I bought the car with the intention of restoring it but other financial obligations have come up. Engine: (745 130) I drove the car home and let it sit in my garage for 2 years. I occasionally started the car and drove it around the block. The car does not start at the moment, the car is in need of a carburetor tuning or adjustment. Although the car does not have the AC compressor or the dash AC kit, the car was retrofitted with the AC option. The car has the compressor lines from the rear to the front and the condenser under the front driver wheel. Transmission: 5 Speed transmission. all gears work and shift smoothly. Paint: the original color of the car is the rare Olive finish (97 62166L). At one point the car was painted white, but now the car is green. Apparently the gentleman who previously owned the car had his son paint the car in his garage. They removed the front bumper assembly and did not paint it or install if back on the car, but the front bumper assembly does come with the car. Needless to say the car is in need of a paint job and some minor assembly work. Interior: the interior is in great condition. No tears or rips on the front and back seats, headliner or dashboard. The interior rug is in good shape and protected by Porsche floor mats. The car also comes with new seat belts with the Porsche hologram on the buckle. Exterior: the car is equipped with (3) early 15x6 Fuch Alloys with the heart shape on the valve stem. The fourth wheel is also 15x6 Fuch Alloy but without the heart shape on the valve stem. I believe it’s also early, but for whatever reason it does not have the heart shape. Maybe it’s from a different year. All four wheels are in great shape and are dressed in near new Potenzas tires. Included in the auction is a 15x6 Alloy Fuch spare, all the trim in black finish (not new), bumper guards, and the complete front bumper assembly. The car is also equipped with a set of H4 headlights. Rust: from what I can tell the car does not have any major rust issues. I’d classify the rust as maybe surface rust at worst. I’m not familiar or how to gauge rust within the Porsche arena, but from I can see the car doesn’t have any rust. The car is available for viewing by appointment and I prefer to show it on the weekends. SERIOUS BUYERS PLEASE.
