This 300cd includes ALL service history dating back to 1980 from the original selling dealer.. The amazing part is the dealership may have closed well over a decade ago... but somehow all of the original documents were kept... and are just as legible and complete as they were 30 years ago! Included as well... -The original first aid kit. Complete with all contents from 1980. -ALL owners manuals... including all supplements, warranty info, and tags that were hanging from the mirrors. -Thousands of dollars worth of service history -1980 Mercedes 'road atlas' -Original Becker radio (working) -Original speakers This car starts, runs, drives, handles, and stops great! You can fly in and drive the car home... even if home is 3,000 miles away. It gets great mpg... and cruises down the highway very smoothy at all speeds, including 75+ mph. (Most historic diesel benz can hardly be driven at highway speeds.) The cruise control works! The air conditioning works! Moonroof works! All climate buttons, lights, etc work! The gas gauge works intermittently (but seems to be working more often as of recently?) and the rear windows are questionable. The exterior was repainted at one time... The vehicle is 30+ years old and looks very good for its age!! It looks better than our recent 1998 diesel! All is factory original... chrome is all there and shines very nicely! ALL glass is free from chips or cracks! Weatherstripping is original. All lights are original and properly functioning. Car is water tight... no worries going through a carwash. Has some flaws here and there typical of a car of this age... but no major dings or dents to mention! The interior on this vehicle smells and looks super clean! No tears at all in the seats. The seats are comfortable... the entire interior is original and complete... no missing pieces or panels! ALL wood trim is intact and in great shape... only one piece has a thin crack. Glovebox works! Non-smoker car, original un-used lighter is included! No strange or other odors... no stains! The drivers side carpet was recently replaced and dyed to match. This car was maintained really well in its early years and it shows. Service receipts show several appointments totaling $1000-1800 in a single visit.. it is upkeep like this that allows the car to perform so well today! Service records also show a new engine was installed by a Mercedes specialist at 130,000 miles. The odometer on this car is non-functional tmu... we estimate this vehicle to have about 175,000 miles. This is still one of the lowest milage best documented 300cd available... and with the low milage motor this vehicle will treat you well for years to come!
