NO RESERVE! You are bidding on a beautiful '78 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Cabriolet. This car originated in California and has been in Arizona since leaving there. It still has the very desirable blue California license plates. It is finished in Naples Yellow, and the interior leather is matching. Everything works on the car, down to the little light under the door push button that illuminates the key entry. When you grab the door handle and depress the button to open the door, a small light comes on to aid you in insertion of your key - a very cool touch. At the same time, the interior lights come on so you can see if any bad guys are hiding inside to steal your beautiful Caddy. A powerful 425 cubic inch V8 engine powers this car and propels it down the highway with ease. Kind of funny that the speedometer only goes to 85 mph - who were they fooling? There is a new headliner in the car which looks great. The dash has a couple of cracks as does the steering wheel. The right rear quarter panel is a replacement, but matches very well. The creamy leather interior is almost perfect - just the right patina for this classic Detroit iron - no rips or tears. The passenger door has some minor ripples just above the rocker panels, the original owner may have rubbed against a pole. Most everything is original, some minor items like the thermometer under the driver's side mirror is a replica of the original. Carpets are fair. Exterior paint is beautiful. The original radio and 8 track stereo work perfectly. There are a couple of dime size rust spots on the car. All this car needs is for the passenger door to be repaired, maybe new carpeting - steering wheel and a dash cap, but other than that, this is a really nice every day driver. It is definately a head-turner. Many, many thumbs up and grins as you cruise with the windows down. If you have every wanted a classic car but could not afford one, then this is your baby. It is a blast to drive. Just make sure your garage can handle it, because it is a little over 18' long. Is it true they can manufacture 19 Prius's from the sheet metal in this classic? Love it.
