Vehicle Detail
this is a great virginia car we redid here at the shop last year. We took apart the whole interior, and redid the bad, kept the origonal stuff as best we could to keep it origonal as possible. It has a new headliner, carpet dashboard, console, and radio. The 95,000 mile motor was removed, and a fresh 65 389 was put in it. It has a new timing chain, oil pump, cam, lifters, and rebuilt carter carb. This car sounds great! and drives very well. I had it plated and drove most of last summer without any incidents. It needs a paint job,and some body work. I left that go for future buyers color preference. Why paint it plum if a great red base/clear makes your day!solid car! has some filler in it,but not anything too bad, looks great at 30ft,wish i did! located east of toledo ohio. Now I will deduct 600$ if i keep the wheels,in case a set of 20s does it for you,so keep that in mind. I also have another gold 65 gp,a 65 bonnie coupe, and a 67 gto clone i am listing next week,so ask anything, and i will get right back to you. any overseas buyers need a $500 deposit due immediatly, and must have a 100% positive feedback with 100 ebay deals, and you are responsible for shipping. I sold a couple to Sweden, and a nice guy came for it for them. thats how that will work, I lowered the reserve, and buy it now to move this car, which will make it quite a good buy! thanks! Rick RELISTED DUE TO ANOTHER EBAY SCAMMER,WISH THEY WOULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO STOP THESE GUYS!On Apr-22-11 at 11:20:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding this description and all these are simple and could be done here! Pulls to the left has new pads and good drums. i think they need turned the same size now all breaks work great other than that and have been gone over. Tail panels need replaced. 2 are coming with the car along with the package tray, other than that and dash cracks in 2 places, interior is all restored. The horn delay is bad, they are 40$ so i didnt bother. The front tires are new, rears are used but have great tread. they were on my daughters 4x4. she sliced 1 tire so winter on a 4x4... all 4 new is best. freeing up 3 good ones for this car (spare). All turn signals, break lights, plate light, headlights, dome light, radio and heater blower, gas gauge, amp gauge, wipers, all windows and handles, trunk light, work great. New battery, alternator, my best front bumper, new carpet and headliner, sweet dash with blinding chrome! this is the best part of these 65's is the dash. It looks like a jet fighter with all the gauges! Basically i put the car together mechanically so you could budget this year and restore the body over the winter. #1 rule "get it home" priced so that when its painted it will be worth more than the total invested. So cruise it all summer as i did, do the body work and flip it for a profit or be the proud owner of one bad ass pontiac. Have several other 65's here too and a 67 clone 36000 mile granny car! I wheel and deal, so options (other then trades for newer cars) exist, so just ask. We restore and modify these too if asked to do so. Questions? email me at stroshine@roadrunner.com. Thanks Rick.
