This is a nice Ford F-150 XLT with the 4x4 OFF ROAD package and the popular 5.4L V8 engine. The truck was totaled out by the previous owners insurance company and will be an easy repairable for anyone. The damage is what can be seen with no hidden problems. The radiator & condensor are fine and blows cold air. There are pictures of both front frame horns showing no damage. No damage to suspension or 4x4 but I replaced the left lower ball joint and left tie-rod ends that were damaged by a careless fork lift operator at the auction. I did this so the truck could be road tested and driven onto your trailer when picked up. The truck drives fine as I test drove to check tranny & 4x4 and just overall like to drive before selling even though I am comfortable with the fact that it was driving down the road when wrecked. The tie-rod replacement is why it needs to be trailered because until it gets a front allignment and set the tow-in the steering wheel is off center and squirelly at high speed plus it is recommended to trailer home rebuilders and repair before being road worthy, plus salvage vehicles are not legal to drive in most states until rebuilt?
The engine sounds great with no leaks, smoke or rattles and runs down the road like a rabbit. The picture of the speedo will show the engine idiling at normal operating temp. and no engine warning lights on. The many pictures of the undercarriage will show dry engine and tranny pan plus no serious rust on floor pan or underside of bed, that a plus!
The overall truck is in good shape, the roof has the color and clear gone from the weather but no damage or hail dings. The windshield has a crack in the upper left corner from a rock but the way it looks it should be ok for inspection in most states because the small crack goes out & back in and no vision interference. Both power mirrors work fine but have been repaired where they pivot by the previous owner and not a good job! There are very few dings or scratches other than normal wear & tear making this truck average to above. There are no signs of off road use or any type of work truck.
The interior is in good condition for the age with the seats not broke down or carpets torn although there is a small hole in driver seat that can be seen in pic. No smell or signs of been smoked in. All power options work including a/c, power windows, locks and cruise.
State Farm Insurance was the previous owners company and they placed a value of $8925. before the damage.
