Vehicle Detail

1964 GMC 1 Ton Dual Wheel Pick Up Truck with a straight 6 292 cid. This truck has (3 on the tree) manual transmission. It’s fun to drive! It still has the original wooden bed, only needs a little repair (see pictures). The 88,835 miles are original. The truck also comes with the custom made topper and carries a total of 40 gallons of gas - 20 gallons behind the seat and one 10 gallon on each side for the another 20 gallons. The body condition is typical for the age of the truck. The truck was originally purchased as a single wheel rear axle, an aftermarket dual kit was added. The truck needs some brake work. This has been a daily driver but would recommend putting on a trailer if you need to go long distance until brake work can be done. This would make an awesome restoration project. This vehicle is being sold as is where is with no warranties written expressed or implied. This truck is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end this auction early. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges if you do not want to pick up.On Apr-25-11 at 06:42:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Folks, I just moved the old GMC this morning. First time driving it in a year. The brakes did not work at all. I will check to see if I can get them back to the working status" Not good brakes but worked" before this morning 04/25/2011. I did say they needed work in the original description. Thanks for looking. On Apr-25-11 at 10:29:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Well folks I checked the brake reservoir and it was empty. That probably means a broken line so the fluid or surely a leak of some kind. I added fluid and tried pumping the brake to pull some in the lines but nothing happened. If you have any questions please let me know.
