The Collector Edition Package includes Collector Edition Emblems, Silver 5 Spoke Aluminum Wheels, and exclusive Sebring Silver Metallic Paint! The Collector Edition C4 was produced as a tribute to the final year of the 4th generation Corvette. Only 5412 Collector Edition Cars were produced in 1996 and not many remain in outstanding condition such as this one! Mechanically this Vette is solid! The 300hp LT1 engine starts right up, idles smoothly, and has tons of power! Throttle response is excellent and you will love the rumble from the FlowMasters as you plant your foot to the floor! The transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears and the suspension is nice and tight. The Goodyear Eagle F1's have about 90% treadlife remaining and they really grip the road nicely!! The Automatic Climate Control blows ice cold and the heater works great as well. The power seats operate properly and the windows go up and down without hesitation. The weatherstripping is also in very good condition as you can see in the pics and video below. I would feel confident enough to drive this Vette to California and back without any worries!! Cosmetically this Vette is very pleasing to the eyes! The Sebring Silver Metallic paint was exclusive to the Collector Edition Package and it has a deep glossy shine. The body is laser straight and all body panels are original. This Vette has not been in any accidents. The 5 Spoke Aluminum Wheels are in excellent condition without any curb rash. It is obvious that this Vette has been pampered. The interior is equally impressive. The leather seats look amazing and they do not have any rips, tears, or cracks. The carpet is very clean as well and the dash looks amazing! You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Collector Edition Vette offered for NO RESERVE!! The head unit works but it is not connected to the speakers (the speakers work as well). The previous owner had an amplifier which was not included with the car. Ther is a very minor chip in the paint on the driver side rear wheel well which would be very inexpensive to touch up (see pic and video below). 1996 was the last year of the C4 generation.
