Vehicle Detail

This is a beautiful 1967 Mustang Convertible with some rare options and color combinations . It is a factory Candy Apple Red car with red interior, the options are odd especially not being a GT car, it came with power convertible top, Auto C4 Transmission, clock, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, AM Radio, Deluxe seat belts, and wheel covers. There were only 1886 convertibles built with candy apple red exterior and red interior according to the MARTY Report which is included with the car. The car also has its Data tag on the door and the Buck tag Under the hood. The Data Plate breaks down as follows , 7-1967,T-Built at Metuchen,03-convertible,C-289-2V engine,76A-Mustang Convertible, T-Candy Apple Red Paint,2D-Red Standard Bucket Seats,06F- Built June 6 1967,11-Boston District,O-2:79 Standard Axle Ratio,W-C4 Auto. The Dealership was Wilmington Ford 496 Main St. Wilmington ,Mass. The Car still retains its original 289-2V engine and transmission ,it runs strong and shifts great and has a nice sounding Exhaust system duals with original style tips. The engine compartment is nicely detailed, The White Convertible Top is brand new and looks great, the top goes up and down smoothly, The interior is very nice there are no tears in the seats ,the carpet is good, the door panels are nice, the dash is nice and all the gauges work except clock, has brand new floor mats. The paint on the car is Very Nice and Very Pretty it has a nice shine with no orange peel ,bubbles or runs, The car was restored around 2002 so the paint had some chips but they were touched up with the actual paint that was used to paint the car so they are hard to see you really have to look for them and yes there is still some of the original paint left for future touch ups, i would rate the paint a 7.5 out of 10. The engine and transmission were also freshened up at the time of restoration, built to stock specs. There is no rust on the car, no bubbles on the body, the floors and frame rails are all clean ,the underside was undercoated from the dealer, i don't see any signs of any body panels being replaced as far as i can tell they look original, the car is very strait. The car was originally ordered new is Massachusetts ,but sometime early in its life found its way to virginia where it is still titled now. I guess that about covers it if you have any questions e-mail me and i will answer in a timely matter or you can call me at 919-559-2297 Joe. Also if you wish to see the car in person you can fly into RDU Airport and i will pick you up, i live only 5 min. from the airport, i encourage it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding, so bid to win and please do not bid unless you plan to buy.
