For sale is my 1984 Chevy flat bed roll back tow truck, most of it is in good working condition, including all the hydraulics and the winch, engine runs good and has nice exhaust. its a 350 chevy engine with fuel injected throttle body. plenty of power for this truck. has a 4 speed manual transmission fist gear is very low can pull or tow anything up a steep hill but the truck will still do over 70mph in 4th gear with rpm to go. the a/c likely still works, it did last time i used it, roll up windows. working radio, very good tires in rear at least 70% and front are 45 to 55%. Dual fuel tanks both work including the gauges. Bed lights work and emergency lights on top. gets 10 to 12mpg loaded Gas 350ci engine bed is 17x7 Pink slip is clear and in hand Runs and drives fine. but needs some repairs and maintenance, fluid changes, 1 break caliper that sometimes sticks when i dont drive the truck alot, it will need a clutch soon but not right away i just wouldn't haul anything heavy up long steep hills until its replaced, needs minor frame straightening because the bed is too high, so it is wearing the bed locks mostly on the passenger side, still drives great and no unusual tire ware, bed can still be used as is, ive been using this truck regularly mostly for short hauls and a couple la trips in the past year but stopped using it and decided to sell it when the registration came up. also will need a smog, possibly a bar inspection for smog equipment and aftermarket fuel injection it passed the emissions but originally failed on tank pressure test , we fixed most the problem but never tired to get it inspected or smogged and registration is a month or so out of date. the only other issues to be mentioned are it needs 1 new rear shock in the back and correct master cylinder for the microbraks to hook back up also needs a new oil pressure sender. engine has never been hot and doesn't burn any oil. reg cost in ca is 344 a year. no chains included. selling the truck as is buyer is responsible for registration and smog as well as picking up or sending for pickup of the truck. I am selling this truck because i need a bigger truck like a 5 ton with a steel bed. Truck is listed locally and i reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it sells locally.
